How it works
You can walk-in, mail-in or request a local pick up and delivery for your repair.

 

Walk in Laptop Repair
Sign our
repair form and pay the intake fee of $45,
we will call you if parts are needed to fix your laptop. If you agree, we can take a credit or debit card over the phone or use the same card you used earlier to order the parts.

 

If you decide that you do not wish to have the parts ordered, then your system is ready to pick up for no additional fee.

 

If you decided to move forward and purchase the necessary parts, we will fix the laptop, we will call you when it is ready and the remaining $50 will be due.


Before leaving our store, our technician will show you the system and let you test the laptop, before accepting it.

 

Warranty:

We always warranty our parts per the manufacture warranty, and include a labor warranty for 90 days. If you should find something else wrong with your laptop within labor warranty, that was not part of the original ticket, we will charge $75 flat rate for the work. If parts need to be ordered, those will need to be purchased ahead to fix the laptop. If the laptop comes back and the problem relates directly to the original ticket, we will provide you service at no additional cost, unless additional parts are needed.

 

Mail in Laptop Repair

Mail-in repairs are very simple and flexible when it comes to shipping it to us and making the payment. We use paypal, so our customers are directly invoiced via email, or over the the phone in case they are unable to access their email. They can also pay here. We also accept checks and money orders that can be sent along with their shipment.

 

Just fill out this form, submit $45.00 payment to paypal@ido.net, our repair lab check out, request electronic or paper invoice, or mail payment with your shipment.

 

The simplest way to ship your system to us is to take it to your local UPS store and purchase round trip shipping. So, when we need to send it back, we will put the return shipping label on it and drop it off at our local UPS store just down the way from our storefront. It is the best way to ship because they have the right packaging materials and can guarantee a qualified claim if a truck runs over the package, etc...

Once we receive your laptop, we will call you and go over the repair requested with you.

 

If a part is necessary, we will call you and you can choose to continue the repair or for us to send it back. All parts order require payment  to order and continue the repair.

 

Once the part comes in, the tech will install, test and notify you that the laptop is ready and when it is scheduled to be shipped back to you. 

 

Submit the last payment of $50 via the above options. The shipment will be sent out following funds clearing. If the laptop was not fixed due to parts or you request not to continue, no other funds are due.

 

If we can not fix the laptop, due to necessary parts not being ordered or you do not wish to put anymore money into the laptop, you will only be liable for the return shipping cost.  If you sent a return shipping label with the laptop we will immediately put your laptop in the mail or with the intended carrier.

 

 

How long will my laptop be in your lab? It depends on the repair. In most cases we have a 24/48 hour turn around time. We keep many parts in stock and do not need to custom order.

 

Do you replace the power jacks on laptops? Yes! We have most in stock and that is a 24/48 hour process.

 

Do you warranty your work? ABSOLUTELY! We provide a 90 day warranty on all labor and a manufacture's warranty on all parts. We even offer a value of just $75, if you find something else wrong that is not part of the original ticket.

 

What is your hourly rate?  We charge a flat rate of $95 + parts ($45 down + parts purchased in advance and $50 at pick up). In some cases like software installations, we will charge an hourly rate of $50.

 

What are my payment options? We accept checks, USPS money Orders, cashier's checks and all major credit/debit cards. Please note that all check's are subject to a seven day hold to clear the bank before services are rendered.

 

Do you have techs on staff 24/7? We have technical support 7 days a week.

 

What are your hours?

9-6p Monday - Friday and 11-5p on the weekends.

 

What type of brands do you handle? We are a national repair lab. We will repair anything that comes through our door.

 

Do you replace internal parts like fans, motherboards and etc? Absolutely! We replace old parts with new warranty parts if they are found to be defective. We repair before we make the suggestion to buy new.

 

Can I order my own part and have you install it? No.

 

Can I order my part from you and install it myself? You can purchase any part in our parts store, excluding our lab stock.

 

Do I need to send my AC Adapter, OS/Restoration CD's and/or Application CD's with the laptop? Yes. All CD's must be in a CD binder with a list of CD's in it and your contact information.

 

I don't have an OS (operating system CD) but my buddy does, can I use that? No. Generally, you will have a Microsoft keycode sticker on your system. In most cases, we can take care of the issue. However, you need to be prepared to have to purchase a new OS CD.

 

If you reformat, what happens to my data? We do a back-up and put your data on our system. When the reformat is done, we put your data back. To put data back is an additional $50.00 Flat. No Hourly.

 

What if you get my system and it is my hard drive that failed, is my data lost? Chances are no. We would change your order to $99 and see if we can pull the data and make your system reboot. If we can get the data files back, it's $195 flat extra. If we pull the files and the hard drive is bad, we'll need another storage device to put it on. Again, you can buy from us, or send another to us. If the hard drive is just dead. We charge a flat $595 + storage to recover the data and will need another hard drive to put the data on.
